How pissed is FOX that Strasburg is going on Friday and not Saturday? They get J.D. Martin instead :lmao:

I like our chances against Bonderman ... which means he'll throw a no-hitter :blah:

One-hitter :blah:

It's funny how similar Atilano has been to what people expected Livo to be.  Hell, even to what Livo HAS been, runs aside.

Ouch.

Well at least this will make the horrible offense irrelevant :?

Don't burn me at the stake here... but the team just isn't itself since Strasburg got here. It's like they save up all of their good games for when he pitches.

FINALLY! I'm glad a coach actually had the exiting pitcher throw the intentional walk, and not the new one.

I've always hated how they bring someone in, and the first thing you have them do is walk the hitter. Never understood that.

We swept the Pirates and we beat a bad pitcher the next time Strasburg pitched.

Looks like Strasburg is the only pitcher we have that can win a game...great.

i really want to like atilano, but he's proving to be a AAAA pitcher like martin.

we need lannan and livan to step up in their next starts.  hopefully detwiler continues to rehab smoothly and can make a return to our big league rotation.  oh that and we go out and get haren/lee/oswalt 8)

The difference between Atilano's major league numbers and minor league numbers is staggering.  I was looking through our minor league pitchers, trying to find some undiscovered gold, last night and I kept seeing Atilano's numbers and they were OUTSTANDING, beyond outstanding really.

What's the difference between the three? Wouldn't you agree that they all pretty much offer the exact same thing?

it's my opinion that lannan is the best pitcher of those three and i'll take his 4.14 career ERA over the other two guys for a #5 starter.

Right now I'd agree with you. As far as potential goes, I'd say it's easily Atilano over Lannan/Martin.
