4 hits tonight. Now batting .379    Also stole 3rd base for his 12th this year.

Does anyone think Rizzo will bring him up soon?

No. Not on 40 man plus he's been playing all over the field. Grooming for a utility spot, likely.

Thinking TMo needs to play every day.  Thinking Kobernus eventually is going to be a multi-position backup in the majors / replacement level starter.   I could see him up as a depth piece if anyone gets sent down among the guys with options (Moore, Lombo, or Espi, in that order of likelihood).

Is Maya still on the 40 man roster?  They could give Kobernus his spot.

If Kobernus can play the outfield reasonably well, we could really use him right now.

He's doing what Lombo did that necessitated his call-up. We probably have to chose which one of the two (Lombo or Kobernus) that we want  to be our future super-utility bench player. But Kobernus will have to first prove that he can play in the majors.

Lombo hasn't exactly established himself as a quality major leaguer.  I would like to see Kobernus at some point if both Espinosa and Lombo continue to struggle.

Kobernus seems to have more speed and more effective speed.  He probably can play the OF better.

I am not sure why his stats were but it looked like he filled in pretty well for RZim when he was out injured last year.

Kobernus would be one of the 5 fastest players in the majors, and maybe the fastest.  It will be interesting if we can establish a position for him.

faster than bourn, revere, bernadina?

I haven't checked, but are there any open spots on the 40 man?  If not, it gets complicated.  They could DFA Stairs...uh....Tracy and bring up Marerro at the same time, but I doubt they want both guys sitting on the bench.

Call him up and demote Espinosa.  It's worth a shot, anyway.

There's nothing in Kobernus's stats or history that suggest he's ready for the bigs. His BABIP .392, 60 points higher than any other time in his history. Low walk rate, low strikeout rate. He's a free swinger and a speedster. Great for pinch hitting and utility guy. Not really every day starter. Not sure why we should burn a guy's eligibility to be a utility guy.

Juan pierre managed to hit a career .296 as a slap hitter,  Ichiro in his prime managed to hit .372 with only 8 homers - speed can sustain a decent average

Donnell Nixon,Esix Snead,Herb Washington, Matt Alexander all had world class speed.
