The July 9 game should be Stras vs. Cain.

Boswell just said online that Strasburg would pitch on July 8th

Stras is pitching on the 9th.  With ticket sales starting to lag a bit this moves his last pre-ASG start to a Friday night when they should be able to sell out.  This also burns everyone who bought tickets for 7/8 based on the original announcement that he'd stay on a five day schedule until the break.

If he pitches the 8th, he'll face Correia.

Back on June 21st, Kilgore posted a schedule that had the Stras going on July 9th. Of course, that may have changed by now.

I would stop hating on the Nats if they he pitched on July 8th.

I would hate on them if they didn't do what is best for the future of the franchise and Stephen Strasburg. They probably want him to have an extra day off before his last start before the all-star break, because they think it is better for his health.

Keep them guessing. It's good for ticket sales.

Today's Washington Post:

After pitching Saturday [July 3rd], Strasburg will receive an extra day of rest and not pitch until Friday, July 9th, against the San Francisco Giants.

Think they'll pitch him against Lincecum (I know I spelled it wrong)?

No, the schedule extrapolates to Cain.  We should miss Lincecum and Zito.
