Josh Johnson has had no problem with the rest of the NL (he is leading NL in ERA), why would he have a problem with our sub-par lineup??

Becuase for some reason we play good pitchers better than sub-par pitchers. Meaning we'll knock Dontrelle Willis out a game in 4 innings but struggle against the minor league pitcher called up two days before almost giving that pitcher a no-hitter

he would've been safe anyway, the throw was off line....hey does the calling up of mateo perhaps signal that vidro will be dealt real soon?

Kearns is lost up there.. He has missed two 3-1 fastballs right down the chute because his swing is too long.  He needs to shorten it and make it quicker.

Harper is a hitter.  He isn't going to miss any 3-1 fastballs like Kearns.  He has a nice quick swing

2-2 count and Bergmann puts on the leadoff batter.. That always comes back to haunt you.

He pitches much like Armas, he nibbles and acts very nervous on the mound

they're just finesse pitchers. That why we need more power pitchers like Patterson

Yeah, agreed.  Traber, Ortiz, Armas, Bergmann, Astacio, are all finesse pitchers.  I think Mock and Chico can light it up

Leadoff double for Sori. You're already in scoring position don't try to steal.

Come on Zimm, anythign but a strikeout or popout. If Kid clutch doesn''t come thru i'm almost positiv they'll go around Johnson and take their chances with Vidro
