Just came to post this. I'm going back and forth between MASN and MLBN.

I wish Dibble was announcing last night. He'd probably have killed Hohn after the game.

[conspiracyhat] Umps are "speeding up" the game, per Selig's mandate [/conspiracyhat]

But seriously, 3 perfect games in one season?

Actually it's 3 perfect games in two months.  So many that they're not that perfect, after all.

Ha!  Man, the pressure on Strasburg is going to be just insane, I hope he can handle it.

Perfect games are meaningless now. Perfect games in which you strike out 20+ is the new "perfect game."

The only time more than two have even happened in one season is in 1880. So yes, its still very rare.

I appreciate baseball history and all, but damn, does Ray Knight ever shut up about "the old days"?
