I'm hoping for Sunday. Family four pack would be nice.

I'm hoping for Friday since I won't be in town Saturday to Saturday.

Hoping for Friday too - sold my Saturday ticket (DC United conflict) quite some time ago to a seatmate who has family in town that weekend (devout Catholics with a child celebrating First Communion; the lucky kid will get to sit in The Best Seat In The House while I'm watching The Worst Team In MLS).

So it's not a given yet. I think I'm going to go to all three games that weekend just in case (even though I'm positive that it will be either Friday or Saturday, Sunday would not guarantee another start in the same homestand).

Nothing definate yet.  But Boswell wrote the other day about probably being Friday, 6/4:

"Now, the Nats head west for a tricky 10-game trip with one idea standing squarely in front of them. Their next game here on June 4 will likely be Stephen Strasburg's major league debut as well. What if they are still over .500 then, or close to it?"

I don't know what ESPN's policy is on switching its programming for Sunday Night Baseball...currently they have Cardinals-Brewers scheduled for that evening, but maybe our finale against the Reds might be moved into that slot and Strasburg's debut might occur then (especially if the Saturday match isn't kicked back into the afternoon for Fox, for that reason)? I don't think the Nats have been on SNB since our Nationals Park debut two years ago.

I like that rumor, especially since I'll be back in town on Sunday....

That's not a rumor. Just wishful thinking.

Isn't that the definition of a rumor?

Isn't that the definition of a rumor?
wishful thinking
–noun
interpretation of facts, actions, words, etc., as one would like them to be rather than as they really are; imagining as actual what is not.

rumor
-noun
talk or opinion widely disseminated with no discernible source. a statement or report current without known authority for its truth

You believing that the Nats will be moved to SNB on the 6th is based on nothing more than hope - because it's not feasible.

Strasburg pitching on the 4th or 5th, based on everything we've read, is a rumor based on facts.

It's semantics, but to me there's a huge difference.

in!  One way or another.  I didn't get the 4th for my points. Went searching for 2 tix together in relatively cheap seats but none could be found.  SO I searched for one to buy and got put in section 202 :(.  Cost me about $39.  So ill be there but I'm still hoping my ticket Rep can put them on will call with 2 tickets anywhere.  If they can, ill sell the one ticket.

Where to meet?

Rizzo seems to get really mad when the media tries to force his hand.

Jon Heyman and MLBtraderumors (with their nose up Heyman's ass) are convinced Strasburg won't debut on the 4th via Twitter. No explanation from either one on why.

Heyman isn't too bright and thinks Strasburg pitches until the end of the year instead of being shut down in September. Where as most normal thinking people think Strasburg makes 15 starts and is shut down when Zimmermann comes back.

[Jon Heyman] You're wasting your time with a June 4th meetup. Strasburg won't be up till July. [/Jon Heyman]

Edit - Damn, I see I was beaten to the punch!
