Game is rained out per Zuckerman. Sucks.

Correction - per Kilgore. They also just announced it on MLB network. Doubleheader tomorrow.

We'll keep this thread going for the first game tomorrow.  I may lock it up at some point but I'll leave it open for now.

If it's a postponed game that was originally supposed to be aired, it shouldn't be blacked out!

CBS Sportsline is reporting that the Hammer was supposed to be out because of a strained groin.

Well, at least it's not two night games tomorrow. Major bummer though, I was just killing time until the game.

Byron Kerr just posted this on Masnsports.com

Quote
The Rockies have announced Friday's game at Coors Field between the Nationals and the Rockies has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday.

Scheduled starters for the Nats remain as expected.

Game 1, Livan Hernandez vs. Ubaldo Jimenez. Game 2, Luis Atilano vs. Jason Hammel, Hammel is returning from the disabled list and a groin injury to be activated for the start.

First game scheduled first pitch at 2:10 p.m. eastern time Saturday, Game 2 scheduled 8:10 p.m. from Coors Field.

Game 2 will be broadcast on MASN 2 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with Nats Xtra.

The Nationals are 20-15, Rockies stand at 16-18. Washington is 9-7 on the road and Colorado is 8-7 at home following Thursday's 14-6 Nats win in 8 innings.

The Nationals are 4-11 vs. the Rockies at Coors Field since 2006, but 3-2 vs. Colorado overall this season.

Stay tuned to MASN and masnsports.com for further details.

Is this implying that Game 1 won't be aired due to MLB blackout restrictions? If that's the case, I'm going to be extremely ticked off.

I'd rather watch that game. I'm going to miss Ubaldo battling Livo. That should be on Fox or MLB Network anyway, more so than another Phillies game. It's not fair at all.

Last year the Rays game started at 6 so an hour of the game was blacked out. This is bollocks.

It would be nice if they had a message up on FiOS Channel 1 saying the game was rained out.

No TV for the first game according to MASN.

Due to Major League rules, only Saturday's 8:10pm game will be broadcast as scheduled on MASN2 HD. Join Nats Xtra with Johnny Holliday and Ray Knight at 7:30 p.m.
