Seth Bynum suspended for PED use
« Topic Start: May 14, 2010, 08:00:24 AM »

Nationals minor leaguer infielder Seth Bynum has been suspended by Major League Baseball for testing positive for an amphetamine, the league announced today in a press release. The amphetamine violated the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. The suspension is effective immediately.

Bynum had hit .248 with a .742 OPS and four home runs in 29 games this season for Class AAA Syracuse. Bynum has been with the organization since he signed with the Montreal Expos as an undrafted free agent in May 2004.
