Mr. a walk is as good as a hit, wasn't a fan of taking pitches?
HE STOOD THERE...STOOD THERE?

It only works if you cross your arms while saying "sometimes a walk's as good as a hit."

Really, because Riggleman said he wants them to stay aggressive . . .

There is a difference between agressive and stupid

Is there any way to find out how many first pitch swings this team has? Maybe I just notice it more, but this team seems to go much deeper into counts. They are getting starters out in the 5th and 6th innings. Pelfrey is over 100 pitches through 5.

One thing I have noticed is the amount of pitches they are seeing. I'm not sure if it was due to Dukes, but last year, this team was not this patient at the plate.

Our own pitchers have been WICKED at the plate at wearing out the opposing pitcher, taking pitches and endlessly fouling balls.  Especially Livan...

Stammen needs to stop dicking around and pound the strikezone.

Speaking of Manuel, it just occurred to me that two NL East managers are last named Manuel.

What happened?

Didn't throw it straight. Was thrown to the third base side. Didn't give Nieves a chance to tag.
