Then who hits when the pitcher comes up?  Tavares?

I would much rather have Willingham and Desmond come up instead of Gonzalez and Taveras. What is Riggleman thinking? I'm starting to think that he is no different than Frank Robinson

Mets announcers said that Morgan is one of the better CFs in MLB at going back on a ball

If we could somehow win this game, this would be the best win of the season.

It's a road game.
It's a division game.
Comparing our starting lineup to theirs.  Manuel clearly was in it to win it today.
...and well, last night.  >:(

:smh:

Instead of having Desmond pinch hit in the 6th then Willingham in the 8th, Riggleman chose the worst option of Gonzalez and Taveras. No way to justify that.

I guess it's pretty much locked up right now that Desmond and WIllingham aren't hitting today.  Darn.

At least one of them will when the pitchers spot comes up.

I swear Manuel is trying to give us this game.  Pulls a lefty, which Nieves is 0-9 against, and puts in a righty, which he is .273 against.

We're outhitting the Mets with our mediocre lineup, that should say something about progress

Taveras is in there already, playing LF.

Is anyone who is listening on radio know why they keep playing the salsa music inbetween batters?  I thought at first someone switched stations on me.

Right, I know, when the pitchers spot, which is now what, the 5 or 6 spot in the lineup, one of those guys will pinch hit.
