Why can't Stammen throw strikes?

Work ahead in the count.

Willie Mays or Craig Stammen? I'll take Stammen because he is a duel threat. Great pitcher and Great hitter.

I stand corrected he is hitting .357 :az:  When is Riggleman going to start using him to pinch hit?

In all seriousness, we'll probably need him to at some point in the season.

Pelfrey's pitch count is 79.  Let's make sure this is his last inning!

The pitches only have to be in the batters box for Francouer and Barajas to swing.

This is the game we find out if this team is legit or not. Last season, last nights blowout would lead to 7 losses in a row. If they can somehow win this game, especially with this crappy lineup, the baseball world should take serious notice.

Our June schedule on paper is laughable. The teams we're playing combine for a .418 winning percentage, with a combined record of 122-170

Wouldn't be unheard of...Didn't Rick Rhoden get a pinch-hit single for the Yanks back in the 80s? Maybe there are other examples.

hahahahaha wow what a funny 2 minutes this has been since coming out of commerical break

1) livan - saying he's been working some of the hitters on the cage to hit, because the starting pitching staff has 5 good hitters.  then he says 4.5 good hitters.

2) dibble dances like the gopher from caddyshack.

also lol @ steve phillips saying livan will be released this year by the nats

Marquis and Livan have both done it before.

They interviewed him? I'm surprised he's not off trying to hook up with fat interns.
