Why do we have so many four-game series against Colorado?

Play Bernardina?  Well, it's not like he's keeping a guy on the bench who has an OBP vs righties over .350 for the past 3 seasons and 1000 ABs, is an outstanding fielder, and has a bunch of extra base hits.
what do you have against Roger?

He'll get it going eventually (I hope).

The truth is not hilarious. This is his 3rd stint in the big leagues and he still hasn't figured it out.

I'm just talking about the ways posters come up with to rip on players. Calling Tim Redding the "vindicator" last year was funny. SF called him TVR.

I know I'm in a very very small minority (maybe the only one), but I think Bernadina is going to start getting some more hits after a few more games.
 :couch:

He just needs to be selective up there. We need him to take walks and hit line drives. He needs to stop swinging at the high stuff. I think he'll be okay.

He went through the same thing in his first year up with the team and started doing well after an adjustment period.  His swing looks much improved to me, but I agree it is just a matter of selection now.  Everyone rags on him and he hasn't been great, but he has made some stellar plays in the field and even came up with a huge hit and steal the other night that the team failed to capitalize on.

I would play him ahead of the American Hero until the end of the road trip, at least.  Give him a chance.  I especially want to see him, and maybe Taveras, playing in Colorado due to the size of the outfield there.  That'll be a place to give Willingham rest against a righty on this trip.
