I really dislike Andruw Jones...he's burned us so much in the past.

What are you talking about?  GameCast has had Zimmeran as the first out in the bottom of the 3rd for past 10 minutes?

What inning is the game really?
top of the Fourth

Thats strange, Bobby Cox is 2nd all-time in post-season wins to Joe Torre.  And everyone talks about the Braves demise in the postseason.

Jeff Francouer's swing reminds me a lot of David Wright.  The way they drive the ball the other way, and the way they pull the ball.

He's been to the postseason 14 straight seasons.  They add up.

Good point.  By the time Ozzie Guillen retires, he might surpass at least Cox.

The guy has done well this year, hes proven himself as a power hitter.   But I agree, Diaz is locked in, so why pitch to him?

It seems like Nats pitchers are struggling with the count 0-2............and Diaz singles, 3-1 ATL.

stupid stupid stupid.  I can't stand Ortiz.  Shouldn't have walked stupid LaRoche and shouldn't have thrown such a good pitch to Diaz with 1-2 count.

When does Cox' contract expire?  I think he's a little old to switch franchises.  There is no doubt in my mind that Frank will not be our manager next year.  Is there a site that shows which managers have contracts expiring?

I dont think Cox is the kind of manager I would like to see get hired.  Cox is one of the best all-time, but I'd like to see someone young and energetic, eg. Joe Girardi

And the chance of hiring Cox are zero, the Braves would be stupid not to resign him.

exactly.  I'm sick of cranky old clueless managers.  I want a youthful guy with lots of energy like you say.
