Lannan isn't 1-2.

Fixed.

Hope it wasn't some time traveling Freudian slip on my part.

I'm 100% certain it was but do not worry. You just flashed back to 2008.

Hopefully, this is the outing where Carlos Silva returns to being Carlos Silva.

Series pitching matchups:
Lannan/Silva
Hernandez/Gorzelanny
Atilano/Dempster

I'm hoping we take two. We can do it.

When I heard the matchups... I instantly thought the Nats could take 2-3. I'd love a sweep... but I really do think 2-3 is realistic.

Carlos Silva is why the statheads hate John Lannan.

Oh, I think a sweep is possible, Dempster is looking mediocre so far, but I don't want to raise my expectations too high.

Ryan Dempster looks mediocre? Damn you're harsh.

I cannot believe how well Silva has done. That surely won't last much longer. Is RZ playing tonight?

Replace that with Livo and I bet the Cubs fans are saying the same thing.

I was trying to get into the spirit of things.  Its tough to take picture of yourself when you're all by yourself in a make-shift office in your basement and you all you have for a camera is your iPhone.  I tried.  I tried to get pics to show me in my Nats away jersey and my White Sox World Series cap, but I only end up looking like the fat-ass walrus I truly am.  Crap.  But here goes.

In the end, I gave up and just did a still life . . .

So, come on Nats!  Go out there tonight and kick some Cubbie ass, and help the universe be right with itself!  Let the spirits of White Sox fandom and Nats fandom be one!  Crush the Cubs!

SOXFAN59
accept no substitute "soxfans," especially if their Sox are Red!

I went to the White Sox game on Saturday against the Mariners when Alex Rios hit the walk off home run. It was my first ever MLB game. It was amazing. I am proudly rocking the White Sox hat in classes today.
