Can you say bad things about a person that sings 'God Bless America'?

 I was wondering the same thing. Yikes.

A couple of blowouts are the only truly bad games this year.  Even yesterday was a case of being aggressive/trying to do too much.  I'll take a team that has that kind of thing as its biggest fault.  It's nice to have an MLB roster with better talent in the pipeline.

Dunn did a great job of stretching to get the DP catch in time.

Yeah, it wasn't the best ever.  That being said, I would have been a puddle of goo if I had to get out there to sing, so there is that...

DP. DP.

On the Dodgers: last time was about 1980, vs Yankees. MVP? I can't remember, although the Yankees had three lefties  starting: Guidry, John, and [somebody I'm forgetting]

That was the last time the Yankees went to post-season until about 1994 or '95...the year they lost to the then-intact Mariners. Yankees promptly got Tino Martinez from Seattle to play 1B, and won about 5 of 6 WS.

The Dodgers???

yeah.  He did leave a breaking ball up that he got away with, but I think it's a tough call  to bring in a righty reliever than keep a lefty who's rolling even vs. one of the best hitters in the league.

The Nationals outfielders are making a lot more big plays, since getting rid of the Curly W mowed into the outfield.

Clippard is an awesome reliever. Wasn't he throwing 96 the other day, though?
