Un-nerving trends in the last 2 games.  I'm still stewing over Morgan making the 3rd out at 3rd.

English or Burnett could have run.

I'm sure English is really fast.

One of those 3 could have been faster. I'm sure one of them is quicker than a veteran catcher named Pudge.

But its over. crap happens. cant believe we lost that.

Atilano or Lannan.  Clippard.

They should have activated Wang

Just pray that Olsen goes strong tomorrow so we can have a chance to go back above .500

Don't want this game to hurt us going into the road trip.

When is Flores back? Just curious. Nieves has been getting some hits when necessary but I hate having a backup catcher that is 50/50. He randomly comes through but you can't expect him to do that all the time. Just rough to watch. I'm not saying Flores will do better either, but just a change of backup or something could be better for this team.

Yeah, I think it's clear that Pudge starts for the forseeable future, but a fragile guy like Flores makes for a great backup.

There's no chance.  That's why this loss is so bad.  >:(  Scott Olsen is the slightly better version of Jason Marquis.

Scott Olsen's Beachball for tomorrow's game can be prepared already.

We'll be under .500 and in last place because I have more faith that the Braves will win than that we'll win with Olsen starting.

QFT :?

I hope they're ready to get Thompson or Martin on the line.

Come on, seriously. Olsen had one pretty good start. I guess they could option him down but I don't think they will.

I think he'll be solid tomorrow.

I'm hoping ... his first start was a lot better than his end result.  He made one mistake and ended up surrending four runs instead of a well pitched two.

In his last start, the Rockies had a gameplan of being aggressive and swinging against Olsen early in the count.  He was missing his spots - leaving pitches up on a platter.

Hopefully he gives us a good one.  It's a huge game and a 6-4 home stand would be just the thing the team needs before heading to a road trip.

I had to look this up, Broxton is listed at 6' 4", 295 lbs.

Could you imagine if he pegged Dunn and Dunn charged the mound.
