Excellent, thanks.

Did Pudge hold his back in pain right there? More spasms?

It's this.

Yeah its a special rule, when there is a switch pitcher.  Also, I believe you can only switch which side you bat from in an at-bat twice.

I just looked over section 6 in the rule book and I didn't see any limitations on switch hitting during an at bat so I may be wrong about the 2 strike rule.

Let Clippard do his thing for the next two innings I say.  Generally managers like their guys to end on a high note, I think it is even more important when its a guys debut.

Got any stock tips?

Jamey Carroll sighting. Who would have guessed in 2005 that he would outlast Jose Vidro in the big leagues.

Amazing how damn interesting the rule book can be. I love all the examples.

Debbi Taylor reporting, "No need to worry about Ivon Rudreegez the medical staff says it is a cramp".

It's good to know that we have the solar hot Cristian Guzman on the team to help ignite the offense.

Who would have guessed Jamey Carroll would end up playing for a team with a worse record than the Nationals?

It's Nats' nostalgia night at the Park.  Belliard, Carroll and Ramon Ortiz on the field at the same time for the Dodgers.

QFT. My pops was an umpire so we had all sorts of books that had hypothetical examples plus actual plays (some very odd) that actually happened in games going back to the last century. It was fun to read those as a boy.

I'm ok with errors when they are bunched into one game and we still win

I could be wrong, but it was a recent addendum to the rules because of Pat Venditte.  It may have only been the amateur rules though, but I am sure they will address it in the next CBA.
