Wait!  The Brewers fielder did NOT have to have control of the ball for a putout yesterday.  Why doesn't Pudge get the same call?

Stallones 2
Nationals 5

Good point. It seems like some umps or more biased than others. I really wish they seriously would consider electronic pitch calling.

Aaron Thompson winning his duel against Phillipe Aumont in AA.

Thompson: 6 IP 4 H 0 ER 0 BB 7 K

Aumont: 5 IP 3 H 1 ER 0 BB 5 K

Espinosa has doubled, walked, and scored a run so far in his AA debut.

Flex-fuel is a GM PR move, Rob. Get an electric car or some Willie Nelson biodiesel.

Beautiful.

I'd call that a strike against Stewart, but I guess that's fair.

The problem is the inconsistency.

You can't have different strike zones for different teams.

Chief, those same pitches that are not being called strikes for CS that are out of the zone were being called strikes for Cook.

What do they make biodiesel with?

I'm dubious of anything like that.  Ethanol fuel already seems like a bad idea.  Yeah, let's stress our world food supply.  Brilliant.

Pitch 4 to Tulowitizki and Pitch 1 to Stewart look awfully close to a pitch that was called a strike to Morgan in his last at-bat.

We'd all be wailing if that pitch were called a strike against one of our batters.  And the strike thrown to Zimm was much more definite.

It's possible, I don't check gameday for every single pitch.  You guys know you can pull up gameday yourselves and check any AB you want

Biodiesel can be made from food waste.

I know, I always have gameday up.  I wouldn't be nagging about balls and strikes if I didn't

I've been real impressed by Thompson, plus I really liked how he looked in that televised ST game.

The Nationals will not be able to maintain a winning record until PC gets an avatar.
