Right, several of that last walk were arguably in the zone, per Gameday.
It's time to go digital. I don't give 2 craps if it offends the umpires. There is a fairness issue at stake. Arbitrary pitch calling needs to go.

That half-inning would never happen for the Nationals.  No home plate umpire would give the Nats' hitters so many close calls.
Yep.  They should go to jail for that crap! :whip:

...the Dunn vs. Johnson, Giants game, last year, comes to mind.

Looking at Gamecast, the first strike to Castro overlapped the prior pitch which was called a ball.

Olsen terrible but we already knew that already.

Our offense is so unbelievably bad.

Waking up in time to read the box score doesn't make you an informed fan, sir.

That pitch, right there, is why we could never have an inning like the Phillies just had.

Yet another Nats fail.

They'll be lucky to sniff .500 for the rest of the month and possibly the rest of the season.

I had no faith in Desmond there. Nice job getting the hit.

Nothing like a 2-out hit with RISP.

Clippard isn't getting his leg kick high enough.

Not surprised he's getting a bit wild.

Clearly a strike on gameday.
