According to Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo, right-hander Garrett Mock (neck) felt a twinge during a bullpen session on Monday."We sent him to D.C. to get it checked out," said Rizzo. "It turns out he had something in his upper back that was causing the shoulder. It's a disc thing that put pressure on the nerve. He thought it was his shoulder, but it was actually (radiating) from his neck." It's not known when he'll be able to resume baseball activities.
