The game was a blast although our bullpen sucked hard.  And yes I was heckling.  The 3rd base umpire was terrible.  He looked at me in the 9th inning and I stood up and yelled louder.

Ha! I knew that was you!  BTW - we all felt the same way about the ump :)

Impressive.  Most young pitchers would crumble after giving up that jack to LoDuca.
Traber's been in the majors before...he was a starter for the Tribe.  Don't expect him to lose composure.
Hes not exactly a polished pitcher though.

Yeah, slumping a bit - doesn't seem to be seeing the pitches too well - particularly the down and away changeup - Glavine seems to have him and Zim a bit befuddled ...

It really sucks when MLB.TV doesnt let you log in.

I once emailed them about it, this is the email they sent back:

Dear Matt,

We apologize for the difficulty experienced. You are receiving that
message because our database has detected that you have logged in
multiple times. The number of computers you are able to login to at once
is limited. Once you login, a timer will be set. This timer will reset
two hours after the initial login and you will then be able to login
again.

If you have not logged in to multiple computers in the past two hours
it's possible that someone else has obtained your login information and
that your user name and password have been compromised. It is our
suggestion that you change your password once the two hour period is up.

Who's "then?"  There are so many new avatars, it's hard to keep up.  JMadison switched Sportsfan882...
Traber has 36 pitches and Glavine has 65.  The Mets are initimidated by the sight of pinstripes, since they know they will always be inferior to the Yankees.
We gotta find metssuck a MetsSuck avatar somehow.

Comcast To Raise Rates $2 For MASN, MASN Charges "Gouging" - 8/11 - From Reuters: Comcast customers will soon see a $2 per month increase on their cable bills as a result of a pact to carry Washington Nationals games. About 1.6 million of the cable operator's customers in the DC area will be able to see the games on Mid-Atlantic Sports Network starting in September after the two sides reached an agreement a week ago, ending more than a year-long fight. "Comcast does not intend to profit from the carriage of this new network, but its significant cost makes it necessary to pass along a price increase to our customers," Comcast Executive VP David Cohen said in a Friday statement. Customers will be notified of the price increase in the next bill they receive and it will take effect in the following bill, Comcast spokeswoman Jennifer Khoury said. However, MASN spokesman Todd Webster fired back: "This is a deceitful effort by a cable monopoly that made a half-billion dollar profit last quarter to find a scapegoat for its annual rate increases. Comcast is gouging its subscribers once again and misrepresenting the amount it is paying to carry the Nationals games. The truth is that Comcast is only paying $1.25 per subscriber for carrying the Nationals games this year. Next year, when the Orioles join MASN, there should be no net increase to Comcast customers, since they are already paying for Orioles games on Comcast SportsNet. Comcast will also recoup 25 to 30 percent of this cost through advertising, thereby making its net cost approximately one dollar per subscriber," Webster maintained.....
