This pitching staff is unacceptable.

It's unacceptable to have a pitching staff with non-MLB pitchers.  Lerner family, you paid $450 million for this team, you should have 11 (or 12) MLB caliber pitchers on your staff!  Anything less is UNACCEPTABLE!

Where do you suggest we get those 11-12 MLB caliber pitchers? They've owned the team for 3 weeks.

I'm speaking generally...and for next season!  I don't want to see mutts like we have this season on next season's roster!

Marlins have Randy (I'm afraid to throw strikes) MESSenger and Joe (screw the target, let's check Olivo's reactions) Borowski up in the pen.

Right there is a guaranteed 6 baserunners.

I don't think our pitchers are garbage, but i do believe that they're being rushed up too early(Rivera, O connor, Wager, Bray, Hughs) All these gys had great stuff and you can see the potential. They just need a few more years to develope their stuff. Wagner needs to deveolop an off-speed pitch in the worst way.

Saul Rivera is in.  That means Frank has given up.

I'll say it again, Rivera should not play in close games.  They don't suit his "skill set".

Look, this is what we've got. MLB destroyed this team, it took them 3 years to deplete one of the best farm systems in baseball - it's going to take time to put it back together.  The Lerner's certainly seem committed to me. I can't see this team's pitching staff next year, resembling anything near what we have this year ... I do however, agree with you, in the meantime, it's hard to watch.

Marlins announcers both have been talking this entire series about how many gold gloves are in Zimmerman's future.
