Is there such a thing as a 4 pitch walk anymore? Do umps just give you that 3-1 strike no matter where it is? Just curious ... seems like a lot of sort of close 3-0 pitches get called strikes ...
If the first three pitches to a batter are balls then it should be no more than 50-50 that that fourth pitch is a strike! It's more like 90-10.
It certainly seems that way to me.
