Wasn't he on the way to the Hall of Fame according to some Mets fans?

That's a long walk with a bum knee.

How long does it take for you to understand I never liked Logan since the day we got him and hated him with a passion, dam I could care less where he is now. He took Brandon Watsons spot that freakin as

Sorry.  I don't understand how I could confuse Nook Logan and Brandon Watson.

Brandon Watson has a AAA hitting record and never tested positive for PED's. Give him a smidigin of credit.

Flop has more to say:

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/diamondbacks/articles/2009/03/26/20090326spt-dbnotes.html
Quote
leadoff man Felipe Lopez knows stolen bases can be a bigger part of his game this season. He also knows that bench coach Kirk Gibson can be an asset for him.

"I can do it; I've just got to do it and be committed to doing it," he said.

Lopez, who stole his first two bases in the Cactus League on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch, didn't want to put a number on how many he can steal this season, but he sounds as if he plans to be run more often than last season, which he split between Washington and St. Louis.
He stole 44 bases with Cincinnati in 2006 and 24 in 2007 with Washington but attempted just eight steals in 100 games last season with the Nationals. He was asked why he wasn't more aggressive in Washington.

"There were a lot of things not aggressive when I was in Washington," he said. "That's in the past. I'm here. Kirk is a great teacher. He knows a lot. He studies the pitchers a lot. He gets a lot of information. That's going to benefit me to use my speed."

Lopez stole second base twice in the first three innings against Thursday.

Shawn Hill wasn't happy with his first Padres outing, lacking the control he displayed in his last Nats outing.  Probably just a little rusty due to 10 days off:

A sinker baller giving up two home runs in 2 innings is terrible. He walked two as well.

Wilkerson is dead man walking with the Red Sox.  Walking out, that is.  It's down to International League MVP Jeff Bailey and Chris Carter. Yes, that Chris Carter.

Who, incidentally, has six home runs this spring.

Josh Whitesell's numbers this Spring with Arizona:

.326 BA, 2 Doubles, 3 HRs, 12 RBIs, 12 Runs, 9 BBs, 16 Ks (46 ABs)

He is leading the team in Homers and RBIs this Spring but they are unsure if he is giong to make the big league team because he is behind the likes of Chad Tracy, Conor Jackson, and Tony Clark.

2 out of the 3 of those guys really suck. Arizona doesn't like winning.
