Wow Miguel Cabrera wins the worst gameday photo ever award...  he looks like some kind of deformed infant.

3rd DP of the game. nice

Maybe we could market Armas for trades and hype him as a double-play pitcher in the same way that other pitchers are called flyout or groundball pitchers.

"Yeah you could really use Tony Armas...  he lulls the opposition into a false sense of security by putting guys on base, and then all of a sudden *BAM!* double play!!"

Meh, I wouldn't necessarily agree with that.  ~350ft to right center isn't a homer in a lot of parks.

I know Armas is a pitcher but there's really no excuse for a 2-pitch out.

Considering they're out-hitting us 8 to 3, it's a miracle the score is so close.

Tell that to Austin Kearns.  He has gotten out on one pitch both times up tonight.

Seriously, don't even start with the park - that's loser talk - besides Soriano has already blown that theory out of the water - afterall Churchy did jack one earlier in the game ... swinging the bat well, good to see ..

And Ward, and LeCroy, and Zimmerman...

Did I forget anyone?

Really though, some guys just can't jack one down the alleys.  And this is not the kind of park where just anyone can knock one out in center field.

Miguel Olivo singles on a line drive to left fielder Alfonso Soriano.    Jeremy Hermida scores.    Miguel Olivo to 2nd on the throw.

Ouch, another error coming back to bite us - 2 unearned runs, the difference in the game so far ... not pretty

And NJ ... let's not forget him (though he is a lefty - but then again, so is Ward!)

This team shouldn't be "focusing" on the Wild Card.  They need to refocus on just the simple basics.

Good job Tony - 6 innings, two earned runs ... really, not too bad at all ...
