I'm betting James Cameron has bought another Academy Award.

I'm betting James Cameron has bought another Academy Award.

All the members of the Academy who got paid to work on that film will vote for him, as well as anyone in the industry who wants producers to spend LOT$ of money, and take LOT$ of time, making films.  Worked for Titanic.

I say that George Clooney will upset Jeff Bridges for Best Actor, and that Up in the Air will win the screenplay award in its category.  Kathryn Bigalow could upset Cameron in the Best Director category, since a woman has never won.  (Not sure if she's the first woman even nominated.)

Kathryn Bigelow is I think the 3rd woman nominated. She WILL be the first to win - every other director seems to be in awe of her achievement. Jason Reitman in an interview seemed to just be amazed at how well-directed Hurt Locker was.

My personal pick would be Hurt Locker.

I choose Hurt Locker as well. I'm glad Jeremy Renner is nominated for best actor. I hope he gets better roles in the future. I mean 28 weeks later isn't much of an achievement but he was really awesome in that movie as well.

James Cameron used to be married to her.
