ya know everyone says he's the right-handed version of brad wilkerson.  i can kind of see that, but kearns has really become patient at the plate this year.  a lot less strikeouts this season and compared to the wilk.

As sportscenter just came on, they were talking about parity in the NL and said it is easier to count the teams out of the NL wild card race than the teams in the race.  Then the other guy said, the teams out are the Mets, Pirates, and the Cubs.  ESPN hasn't counted us out, that's fairly surprising.
