Everyone always says Chrome is faster but I honestly don't see it. I also notice it tends to reload cached files unnecessarily often compared to Firefox (though on the other hand Firefox sometimes doesn't reload files that it should).
Chrome is still way behind Firefox in extensions even if it does have them, but I have no doubt that will even out with time. I do like Chrome's sandboxing and process-per-tab features, but the UI could be a little bit more customizable... the default is elegant but a bit TOO sparse for my tastes.
In the end, to each their own.
