"I think he's just played a great shortstop, and he's getting better and better with the bat," Jim Riggleman said before Tuesday's game. "He plays with no fear. He's really a heads-up player, a leader on the field. He's a special player. This guy is 24 years old, but he's breaking in at the right time. You want him there about 23, 24 years old. He got some time in September, and it's helped him now. He's got a chance to be one of the elite shortstops in baseball."
