i currently have Ropa Vieja cooking in the crock pot. Yeah I know it's not the ideal way to make it, but I had to work today.here's the recipe, the house smells very good:http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cuban-ropa-vieja/(check out the first comment, I LOL'd). I'm going to make the black beans and rice in a minute. Forgot to buy plantains.
Me either but I figured it may keep AtBC out of trouble for a couple of hours.
So AtBC is making something called 'The Golden Spurtle' in the crockpot with steel cut oats.....make of that what you will.
Is he competing this year?
The Golden Spurtle?
Google at your own risk if you're at work, but keep in mind it's something you can do in a crockpot.
To the first, its' chicken, a little butter, and some blue cheese (also salt and pepper)To the second, yes, that's my larger pan. The steak shot is my smaller pan. I have no idea what they're "really" called.
Um... frying pan
Looks good, though maybe with a different cheese than blue cheese
It wasn't much, just a little for flavor.
Technically I think the second one is a sauce pan. Personally I don't care.
Saute pan if the sides are high and form a right angle with the bottom.
And if it's made out of copper it is kitchen bling.
