lol, attitude era was awesome, but that match reminds me of one of the things i *didn't* like about it - to paraphrase "who's line is it anyway", the rules are made up and falls don't matter.

Here's another example of this:

Jericho with APA vs Triple H
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0Su_XnbpDM&hd=1

Triple H gets belt back from Jericho in same night because Hebner nages out
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSrUjlleU0Y&feature=related

I know it was all scripted to be like that but come on!!

I love all of the refs coming out at the end.

You don't want them squaring off before the fight. You want fans to pay to see the fight, not seeing a re-hash of what they've seen for free on Raw.

Of course, that's just my opinion on how you book good feuds... money matches belong on PPV, not given away for free on tv.

Attitude Era had so many awesome fights like that though!

whoa whoa whoa, i'm not saying have a 1-on-1 match every week before wrestlemania, i'm just saying at least some kind of physical showdown or have one of them fight a miz or something and have the other run in ...

i don't know there are a million other ways to spice up the fued rather than just hear cena call the rock, "dwayne johnson" a million times.

the rock vs. stone cold would headline a card for major PPV many times and they still were able to duke it out and not make it stale.

hahahahahahaha i was so pissed when that happened.

but when they came back out, i love how trips brought out another ref and forced him to say it was a fast count, then after the ref admitted it ... trips said thank you and you can go.

HHH is definitely one of the best all-time.  love him or hate him, he's gold jerry, gold.

Pull apart brawls are cool... but any match that involves the two, I don't like... even if it's a tag match.

yeah, should have marked it as such (and just did).  It's being reported on a bunch of sites though.

i was pretty disappointed in Monday's RAW ... usually the one before WM is one of the best of the year and it was fairly weak.

but I'm excited for Sunday.  Let's hope Trips and the Rock win!

Cena and Taker!

Big return at Wrestlemania: Brock Lesner

Wow.. I don't keep track of Wrasslin one bit, and just popes in the thread because I saw UHD had a special on tonight. About the Rock vs Cena match... But I always thought Lester was a pretty decent guy from news stories, and so I knwo a decent amount about the story.. Isn't this like totally insane and out of character for McMahon? It seemed Lesner left him hanging after getting burned out outside wanted to go to the NFL, and after Vincent promoted the crap out of him above all others. McMahon is the kind to hold a grudge to the grave, and so this is pretty shocking, no?

Cena and Taker!

I'll go with Cena & Taker too.  Cena has to win since he'll be there on Monday and they don't want to bury him.  Taker has to win too, just because he's Taker.  I could see them doing something like having Michaels throw in the towel for HHH who just won't quit but is nearly unconscious.

I'm guessing they build to Taker vs. Lesnar for next year

Great last two hours of the show. Took a while to get going but once it did, it was awesome.
