I just watched the 2/4 edition of Raw yesterday - I cannot fathom why they'd push a hack like Ryback over Cesaro.  Cesaro has all the makings of a great champion and Ryback has all the makings of flash-in-the-pan.

Cesaro is just incredible. His moveset is something I haven't seen in awhile, if at all. I can't wait till he gets more recognition.

Great RAW last night, though. I'm so pumped for the Elimination Chamber.

His new gimmick 'MURICA is going to piss off a ton of people... but it'll likely make for some money feuds.

as a republican i think it's going to piss off some right wingers, i love the gimmick though.  if one day he turns face, he can still stick with the new angle.  speaking of, it reminds me of kurt angle.

would be awesome to see angle come back to WWE and fued w/ swagger (who is uber talented inside the ring) w/ the whole america vs. america thing.

and then if he gets more of a push, he could run with the US champion belt.

I think you mean left wingers/anyone not a extreme republican racist. That's who it's really going to piss off.

he's seems to be getting the "you are doing well and starting to get over, so lets bury you" treatment that they put on Miz, Swagger, Barrett, Ziggler, etc.

yeah, it seems to be that time. It also seems to be Shield's time for that too. Cena and friends will probably destroy them this weekend.

anyone see aries/roode from Thursday's impact?  The story was that Hogan forced them to wrestle each other (they are tag champs), so to spite Hogan they agreed to do the finger-poke-of-doom so they wouldn't have to fight each other.  Except they got into an argument over who would lay down, which escalated into a fight, and then into a match.

But it gets better.  After a ref bump Roode grabbed a chair, whacked the mat, and fell down to trick the ref into thinking that Aries had hit him with a chair, thus winning by DQ.  Aries realized what was happening and whacked the chair against the mat himself, then fell down clutching his head as well, so when the ref awoke he saw a chair, two guys laid out, and both claiming that the other hit him with the chair.  They also went through an earlier segment where each was trying to use the ropes to get a pin, and both were yelling at each other for it.  Absolutely great stuff.

Jack Swagger and his manager, Zeb Colter (Dutch Mantel), are doing a tea party gimmick expressing anti-immigration, right-wing views.  Their "state of the union" address on Monday ruffled the feathers of several right-wing commentators.

After Raw, Swagger was arrested on a possession of marijuana charge.  Swagger was in line for a title shot against Del Rio at Wrestlemania.

All the ex-creative guys that have been polled about it think Vince might bring in another guy to be the "real" guy behind the right-wing movement... or they'll have Swagger get blown out before WM and replace him with someone else.

i think linty's right, swagger will be completely buried on Monday by Henry.  The WWE isn't going to tolerate one of their big names smoking weed after a TV taping and driving off under the influence.  He's toast.
