growing up in NY, the monthly MSG cards were on cable TV.  I watched probably every one from around the time Backlund had his program with Killer Khan in 1980 until Hogan took over.

aces and eights have gone from intriguing, to "go-away-heat" annoying.  Save for a great main event between Daniels and Hardy, Impact was a train wreck last night.  I really thought the whole A&8s program was going to end up with Jeff Jarrett as the leader, seeking to punish TNA for inducting Sting into the HoF instead of him.  But now we're way past the point where that would make sense, and there are some reports that say that the "higher power" will end up being Bischoff.  Thus, the whole A&8s program leads to Hogan vs. Bischoff.

In the early 70's there was a DJ on WINX (DC Metro) and the club scene.    He left town in the mid to late 70s.   In the early 80's, I was watching a California rasslin' show on Channel 20 at 2 in the morning.   The ring side announcer was Barry Richards.

Just read this morning that Bruno Mars got his stage name from his childhood nickname of Bruno - after Bruno Sammartino.  His dad called him Bruno because he was so small and he wanted to cheer him up by comparing him to Sammartino.  Mars was just something he added.

looking much more likely that it's Cena vs. Rock at WM.

They freaking killed my excitement when Cesaro was eliminated. Not just because of him but all of the capable ones got eliminated immediately after and we had to deal with Sheamus and Cena.

We already had that match. Stop it. Put new talent over. Or give us something different. Like Brock vs Punk or some crap.

I'm selling my raw in dc tickets. No desire to see what they are building to for wm.

"Once in a Lifetime II is going to be so good!!!!"

They have so much capable talent but they trot out this repeat? At least we'll hopefully get some good matches... but I'm not expecting anything after they pulled this. It'll probably be Rock vs Cena, Triple H vs Brock, Sheamus vs Orton or something

Jericho was by far my favorite moment last night... This was a close second:

The whole Cody vs Dustin was fantastic.

brock vs. trips (trips comes out and sticks up for his old-man-in-law) ...

something that i kinda want to see is vince being connected to the shield.  heyman mentions in the vid that "WE" have been paying shield/maddox, i'm hoping this is like the corporate ministry reveal all over again and vince goes super heel (although i like vince no matter what).  interested to see how heyman manages both punk and lesnar.

It's been a long time since they did a major swerve, but they need to do something to freshen the product.

The Rumble was the best in recent memory.

Team Hell No is winning the WWE.

mighty fine TNA Impact last night, it's a much much different show in front of 5-10k fans then when they are in the impact zone.  They announced last night that they are going on the road for TV tapings, they will run two shows every two weeks, the first one is live, then they tape a show for the following week.  WWE and WCW used to do this years ago.
