Mark Henry is actually a name again?  Do I even want to know how that happened...  last I recall that dude was washed up and forgotten.

Just playing typical monster/tough guy that destroys his opponents. Definitely the best stretch of his career.

we went to the WWE show at Verizon tonight, Mick Foley was there as special guest host, and Jerry Lawler actually wrestled (the guy in front of me yelled "win one for Lance Russell" - I laughed).

CM Punk over Miz in a cage match in the main event, fantastic match that went about 30-40 minutes or so, afterwards Punk spent a long time walking around the arena shaking hands.  Fun time.

Warrior's "shoot" video about Hogan is pretty entertaining.  Youtube it if you have an hour to kill.

LOVED IT.

He's going to be a monster heel this run. I bet him and Punk go at it soon.

That look he gave as he walked off stage was indicative of a huge heel run.

Best troll job ever?

10 minutes of getting the fans to cheer without saying a word and then walking off? I couldn't stop laughing.

And it was perfect, he ripped on everyone that comes back for the cheers, with the pandering and the outrageous smile. Hell, he even ripped his last return when he came out with the shiny suit and what not. Dude is a genius.

Edit: For those that don't know what we're talking about... here's the video.

Royal Rumble time!

By far my favorite PPV of the year. Only one I buy year in and year out, regardless how much wrestling I've watched in the past year.

Yeah. Not a fan of the ending tonight.

Otherwise, entertaining Rumble as always.

i followed it on f4wonline.com and bryan's twitter feed, sounds like it was a bit of a let-down from the "surprise" entrance perspective.

I thought the Rumble was weak compared to years past.  Too many no-names.

Agreed in the sense that it was lacking star power. Still love the match, though. Nothing beats it... though I do like the Elimination Chamber matches, as well.

They held the first of those Elimination Chamber PPV's in Albany and I went (the year Edge cashed in MitB and beat Cena).  The match is awesome live.

The Rumble still rules all.

There were easily 10 names that didn't belong:  Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Hunico, Epico, Primo, Jim Duggan, Jey Uso, Ricard Rodriguez, etc.  The Kharma thing was great and the Kofi Kingston walking on his hands to remain in the match was one of the best Rumble spots in history.

Kharma looks so legit tough that you could almost buy her competing against men.

What a tank.
