As I sit here watching Cliff Lee mow down Nationals hitters, it reminds me of how much I'd love to punch Bartolo Colon in the balls.

How about punching Bartolo Balls in the colon?

Intelligent design is a sneaky way of repackaging creationism to try to trick school boards. I'm assuming this will get moved to uncensored.

oh I know what Intelligent Design is.

I'm asking what's wrong with the concept?

creationism = fail

why? because you don't want to go to church?

and no, I'm not arguing either side of the argument. I'm asking for your viewpoint.

This is a rough game... What are we gonna do for next year?! I like to keep my hopes saying that Morgan and Flores could spark our lineup but it'll look the exact same just with them back in the spots they're supposed to be in. Will we hit? Will our pitching be better? What about our bullpen? Something huge needs to happen in the offseason.

btw, that little girl was funny who threw the foul ball back.

Something just occurred to me, watching that playoff commercial, all the teams that are so much better than the Nationals (which, frankly, includes every other team) that won't make the playoffs.  San Francisco, likely.  They showed Tim Lincecum pitching on the commercial.  A team with Tim Lincecum probably won't make the playoffs...

It makes you wonder, how far we are away from the playoffs.

The Giants are only a few games away from the playoffs. Stephen Strasburg>>>Tim Lincecum. Therefore, they would make the playoffs with him which in turn gives the National hope for a playoff bid in the future.

Well, they do have other things than Lincecum but they still might not make the playoffs.

I think if you put the Nats' lineup with the Giants' pitching staff, that team would make the playoffs.
