Is there a reason the team isn't going to play Flores? (Did he have a rehab assigment?)

He can pinch hit but is not fully healed to play defense.

Jesus FAILED at bat.

Now, that's how you use Bergmann, at the bottom of the order.

...not against Albert Pujols!

Point taken, but they also brought him in to face Hanley Ramirez with the bases loaded, and he got the job done.

...but it wasn't smart.  Just lucky.  The manager can't depend on luck every night to cover up for bad decisions.

A manager has to know the limitations of his players.  What we need is more players with fewer limitations.

Detwiler should have gotten the start instead of Estrada.

A second inning, this is against conventional wisdom.

AlGo 2/2 with 2 doubles

And Dunn has 2 RBIs.  Glad you're keeping score

Why keep trotting Gonzalez every game? Is his .183 average since the all-star break misleading in any way or what?

I'll eat my words.
