Because they know they'd leave them up and get crushed. :)

why don't any of our pitchers have the balls to throw 3-2 breaking balls?

C'mon Dukes, be smart here.  No swinging for the fences with the wind blowing in like this...

:spaz: eh, 1 run is better than none. Hell, 4 runs is better than none. Should've gotten atleast 2 there (the walk in run that dunn swung at and then the sac fly).

So. I'm stupid. What does crooked number mean? Anything but 1?
Damn, should have put up a crooked number with the bases loaded and no outs.

Early trivia question this evening;  Who hit the most career HRs and never hit a Grand Slam?

I think so.  At least that's what I always took it as.  Of course 8 is symmetrical too, so I would take that if not a crooked number.

Ugh yes Livan is so wonderful the Mets waived him, please don't let these announcers keep talking about Livan like he is the best pitcher out there.
And yes, I'm bitter he is here and Julian is not :(

WOW.

How do you take that?

Maybe Dunn's responding to the critics that would rather he swung at pitches off the plate withducks on the pond, then to take a walk.
