I've got a question for the resident Mac gurus, by the way. Any way to fullscreen a web browser? Best I can do is setting the dock to autohide, but that still doesn't get rid of the top menu and I'd prefer not to have the dock autohiding anyway.
Unfortunately, most Mac browsers have no way to do a fullscreen view. Saft used to do it for Safari but it's not supported anymore (and it cost money).
But fear not! There is a solution. The free Plainview browser is completely fullscreen (no menubar and no dock at all). Works pretty well, just hit Command + L to pop up a little Location bar to go to websites.
