it's just scattered storms just like it is every day all summer in D.C. when it's this hot and unstable.

He's a shortstop...? The Brewers have been batting him 9th to act as a "second leadoff guy."

Oh yeah - I meant Looper - what a crazy delivery.

Pretty much what Yahoo! Weather has tabbed for tonight:

'Scattered thunderstorms. A few storms may be severe. Low around 75F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.'

...in other words, more or less what they've predicted the past few nights.

Wunderground was more doom and gloom - I think they'll play.

I just got my Roku player today right before I had to head off to work.  The thing is the height of awesome!  I have it hooked up to my SD tv right now, and Netflix content looks easily to be of DVD quality over my wifi connection.  I haven't tried the Amazon Video On Demand yet.

But the best thing is the beta "channel" of MLB.tv.  You can watch live streaming games on your TV if you have an MLB.tv subscription (as long as you are out of market).  But the bonus for me is that you can watch any of the archived games from the previous week too (no blackout restrictions) so I can watch the replay of every Nats game after work each night without having to worry whether MASN will play the O's replay or Nats replay, and not having to watch it on my MacBook Pro.  You can also choose between either team's feed for each game.

I checked out a little of last night's game on the archive and the quality on a regular SD TV is top notch.  I hope tonight's game is a good one so I can look forward to watching the archive when I get home tonight.  Best $99 device I have ever purchased.

And BTW, still, WHERE THE freak IS MORSE!?

Brewers on a four-game skid, dropping one game to Houston and three straight to Pittsburgh. If Looper wouldn't mind keeping that going for us, that would be lovely.

Go Nats!!

Fridays seem to always be slow then put that on top of the hoopla earlier means there will probably be about 10 pages, 50% of which will be SF

Damn.

We should have pitched around Fielder.

vintage nationals. squibbler by Braun for a base hit and then serves up a bomb to Fielder.

Martin is god awful against lefties.

Hell, we should pitch around Braun and Fielder for the rest of the series.  Walk both of 'em everytime!

If Fielder's hurt, we might win this series!  The homerun was worth it, if that's the case.
