Has he had any offers from Japan?

I don't think so. Japan doesn't want to be a pawn in Boras game. If they do offer him something, it will be long term like 5 years which Strasburg will obviously decline.

Japan doesn't want to be that, but more importantly, doesn't want to get into a trade war with MLB and see their own players raided.

Did Aaron Crow sign with KC?  If he didn't is he a free agent after midnight tomorrow?

He has not signed, but evidently, the deadline doesn't apply to him, so KC is not under pressure.

He's pretty awesome. Also, he looks like Ryan Zimmerman. We should trade for him.

So, he can't be a TRUE free agent until August 2010?

The Japan option for Stras has already expired. I'm pretty sure their signing deadline was 7/31.

no, prior to next year's draft. if the royals haven't signed him by then he would be eligible for the 2010 draft in June.

Haha, the Reds color commentator hates rap music.

Haha, not this guy, when he was a pitcher he played Hank Williams jr in the clubhouse.

"Anything but rap and country" is a 100% description of my iPod though. Although I do love bluegrass!!

Is that really a slider Lannan is throwing at 86? His fastball is barely 88.

Any American born amateur has to enter the draft. The only way around it is to give up your citizenship and move to another country.
