I guess this bat-thread is the appropriate place for this confession: I wore my bat slippers to school when I was in kindergarten.    They kind of looked like this but they were dark blue.

I had Batman converse that had the bat signal on the sole so when you walked in the sand there was a bunch of little bat signals following you.
