It was kind of death by a 1000 cuts. He did get hit, but he also gave up a series of groundball hits, which as a groundball pitcher making his rookie debut, may not be what will happen normally. Can't be thrilling to have an infield of Belliard, Guzman, and Harris, when you are a groundball pitcher.

If I was a groundball pitcher and they called me up for my debut and that was my infield, I'd say, "no thanks."

If you walk Austin Kearns you should be immediately DFA'd.

I heard on XM radio today that Gord Ashe said he was trading for FLop to "improve the team."

Yep, the GM should walk right out there and DFA your ass on the mound.

Phillies leading Cubs 9-0. I guess the revival of the Cubbies lasted just four games.

No.  Keep him in the bullpen.  We don't need to Joba around with him.  He's found his role.  Let him thrive there.  Closer perhaps someday.

Where in the hell is the fun in that? You don't have a blind vendetta against Dunn.

That's what is running through my mind while watching him. Potential closer......

Well done by Clippard.  Can't ask for much more than that, unless he can hit a grand slam or something

It's fun for me because I want a Dunn t-shirt.

If Storen lives up to what the FO wants him to be, the two could be your 8 and 9 guys.
