My God...I rushed home to turn on the game. Why? Why do I do this to myself?

Haven't there been numerous calls for this guy to get a call-up? They never learn that minor league numbers are meaningless. This level is totally different.

They aren't totally meaningless.  YOu don't see too many people suck at AAA and still excel in the majors.

No sweat.  I was prepared for him to rip into Dunn for the DP, but that "selfish AB" crap is so retarded I just got tired of hearing it.

I can think of 16 league leading selfish AB's by Zimmerman but it's not fun now that sportsfan isn't here.

Is the forum going REALLY slowly for anyone else?  Must be sportsfan sitting at home in front of the comp tapping F5 trying to DoS me

Unbelievable slow for me. What does DoS mean?

The start of the1st inning was not really his fault -  dribbler, sacrifice

This made me laugh but it's a great point.

Yeah in that first inning he was still suffering from the effects of 2005 Tommy John surgery so he was hurt.

Denial of Service.  Overwhelm the server with requests so that nobody can get to the site or it runs really poorly.

I've actually been considering upgrading us to a dedicated server lately so we can stop worrying about performance once and for all (at least until we have a LOT more users) but I'm not sure I feel like paying an extra Jackson a month for it.

I think Riggleman wants to be fired so he can go somewhere else.  Why else would he trot out this lineup?

Chief, have you ever thought of selling some WNFF merchandise like t shirts, mugs, etc on a site like Cafepress to help cover the costs?

I would not have even known that was an option. But I have a feeling sportsfan is still lurking tonight   (he just had his posting privileges revoked for the night).

Am I the only one who feels bad for this kid?  8 years to get to the majors and he's getting shelled, this team continues to break my heart.

I've thought of a lot of possibilities but I'm not sure what the potential legal ramifications are, especially where it concerns use of things like the curly W.

I don't know if you are the only one (I have a feeling nancy-boy would agree with you) but I don't feel bad for him at all. He seems like nothing more than a career minor leaguer so far.

Figures, Olsen will be gone until sometime next season.  :hang:
