Dibble is preaching. this is freaking pathetic. the pitch calling, selection, execution by the whole staff is just a farce.
That's a good one. I doubt the number is under 20. If McGwire's number was not retired I would say 25 if not I would say 29.
He's struggled with that but he's the best pitcher we have (as far as stuff) and I'm not worried. He is going to be a good one (unless he never overcomes this issue ).

true. but Zimmermann is just not good enough right now. the Ks and low walk totals are nice but he makes too many mistakes. not good enough. All it takes is 1 bad pitch to ruin the game. it's happened with him 2 starts in a row.
But if you force pitchers to keep making pitches, they're going to make mistakes, especially at this point in the game.
