Julian Tavarez and Ron Villone are tied for the most losses in all of MLB for relievers with 5.

isn't he batting .300 in the majors in 300 ABs or something?

Yeah, but he didn't demonstrate much power and he has mostly played OF. Like I said, he's not a bad stick, but he doesn't have the rep as being solid defensively at SS, and without having power (this year's AAA stats aside), he doesn't project to be more than utility guy or temporary filler.

We need legit top guys at all positions.

Unless you have endless resources like the New York Yankees - this plan is impossible.  Even the Red Sox can't do that.

Good grief, he's pitched 31 innings and has a 3.73 ERA, and this is who they are choosing to pick on?? Do they EVER have anything bad about the sucky offense???

You're right.  In a close game, how could they possibly pick on the poor guy who allowed an inherited runner to score on an RBI double and then issue three straight 2-out walks including one to a guy who's hitting under .250?

I can't figure it out either.

If it would have just been about last night's game I could have understood it, but they were basically saying he has been worthless since he has been here and sorry, that's not the case.
