Holy crap Josh.

Every time he's out there... it's an adventure.

he doesn't have the greatest of wheels, but they were playing b-rob to the gap ... he did a great job of hustling to catch up to that.

Not 100% what is better, being surrounded by mouth breathing dolts, or watching games in an ignorant baseball town...

Joel isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Quote
In his last three games (2-1/3 innings), Joel Hanrahan has allowed eight earned runs. His season ERA now stands at 7.71. He's given the team little reason to pitch him in close games -- and Washington's front office openly admits that he'd be pitching in the minors, if only he had options remaining. However, Washington has no such luxury; cutting ties with the hard-throwing 27-year-old would likely mean losing him to another organization. And the Nationals still aren't willing to do that, acting GM Mike Rizzo said today.

"I just think we'll have to be patient with him and live with him," Rizzo said. "Manny will have to put him in the right positions to succeed -- maybe winning by a lot of runs, losing by a lot of runs."

I guarantee that Kearns with not GIDP.

Somehow, Kearns will find a way to create 2 outs with no men on base.

freak. Luke Scott up. HR hitter against Martis who serves them up to lefties.

lefties batting .319/.402/.530 off of Martis.

embarrassing.  that's why this club is in last place, b/c of crap like this.  you have a 2-0 lead go after hitters and stop nibbling.

i don't know how accurate GameCast is, but from the 'strike' location, it appears that this plate umpire is matching mbeane19 beer for beer.

It's pretty small.

Dunn walked on a borderline pitch that got us a run.

true.

in that last AB to Scott, all 4 pitches thrown by Martis were out of the zone. Scott bailed us out.

Left that pitch right down the plate.

Even Greg Zaun can hit a pitch like that.
