In 1.2 innings, it's well beyond inexcusable.  That's a game and half worth of walks.

Tavarez was the only reliever who didn't give an earned run and he's going to be the one who gets the loss.

At least the Boston fans get to leave happy. That will satisfy Kasten and the Lerners.

The bullpen and the bullpen management has been a disgrace. If the Nats had only blown 25% of the saves that we have on the season, we'd be ahead of at least 5 teams.

That last curve ball for a strike was a "let's get this game over with" call.

QFT.

meanwhile, no one knows what the freak Mike Rizzo is doing. He is not having discussions with any of our top draft picks and he is also completely ignoring the big league roster.

I can't wait until postgame so we can here that Kip Wells has been DFA'd.  Too bad it took a 6-run, 8th inning to do it.

Yup. No trades yet either. We're still playing two left fielders at the same time. It seems all they are doing is monitoring the inning counts of the kids and planning for september fill ins.

They need to trade veterans for prospects, but if they trade our veteran position players for relievers, the FO should be burned in effigy.
