Cute, but deviation in game thread naming convention is probably the one thing I have a zero tolerance policy on ;)

They're having a "draft party" at Nats park tonight.  Not sure what the means exactly.

They said the other day that they will keep draft updates running on the scoreboard during the game, and I'm guessing it will be on in the Loft, etc.

The Nationals have won the last 6 home games against the Reds, dating back to 2007.

And there aren't as many Reds on this team as in years past.  Only Kearns and Dunn came from the Reds (Dmitri did as well, but is only on 40-man).  Villone also played for the Reds, but that doesn't really count as he has played for 12 other teams as well.

I'm guessing it involves:

- The Red Loft
- tomterp
- Beer
- A tomterp beer bath after we draft Strasburg

Does that sound about right?

Cueto should own us. The kid has been one of, if not the best, unheard of pitchers in the bigs.

People talk about Volquez, but Cueto has been money this season.

Zimmermann was scratched tonight.

Detwiler will be going in his place.

Remember how when Nick was scratched from the starting lineup because he got a stomach bug, how everyone thought "this is it, Nick's been traded"?

Just saying....

Well, that is certainly relevant because Willingham also came down with a stomach bug last week.  It could be possible Zimmermann picked it up as well.  Hopefully it isn't another injury, I'm really 'sick' of those.

They are basically the same pitcher, and we don't really need either...

Who needs prospects when you can trot out Chico and a 6.00+ ERA every 5th day!

From Zuckerman:

Turns out Zimmermann does have a minor injury. He experienced soreness in his right elbow after throwing a side session Friday. Zimmermann was told the injury is not serious and is now scheduled to pitch Saturday against the Rays.

I'll take a healthy Chico AND Olsen.  If I had to choose, though, I'd take Olsen.  Olsen can still be a good pitcher, Chico I am not so sure about.

Olsen and Chico are the same age, Olsen has more MLB experience, and he's more MLB proven. I'll take Olsen...
