Blasting any and every prospect.

Just went after the kid who's 16.

Carp said they do give tours to Cooperstown though.

Dibble is full of crap. He will be eating his words once he sees SS pitch.

Thanks.  If he was with McCatty at AAA why send him down to work with a new pitching coach when he is struggling?  That is just wasting the time of a young player.

I don't see why everyone thinks Stammen should be taken out... if he keeps getting outs and holds the Mets scoreless it's plenty helpful, and not at all giving up the game.

it's already over anyways. it doesn't really matter.

The offense is incapable of hitting against Livan. pathetic.

terrible swing by Anderson Hernandez.

I agree, leave Stammen in if he can pitch like he did in the 2nd again but not if he repeats the first...

He's still pissed that Baseball America didn't rate him as a prospect.

No I'm talking about earlier... people say put Bergmann in... I was just saying it's just as helpful to keep the starter out there if he's getting outs after a rough first inning.

The bullpen is well rested from yesterday, but of course Stammen is a better option than Colon-e

Holy crap... that was the saddest look I've ever seen a GM give when he was looking at the camera.

I am saying Bergmann will come in at the next sign of trouble i.e. like 3 WPs in one inning and 5 runs. But if he throws like he did in the 2nd he is fine.

Stammen needs to stay working out as a starter in AAA.   The Nationals need Stammen as a back up starter in AAA because if someone else goes down the Nats don't have too many more choices after Balester is up.  JD Martin / Stammen possibly Estrada.  Collin Balester  is ready now with 3.98 era and 3 wins in a row. He has Major league experience and is ready to get it going on the Bigs!!!

The key with Livan is not swing at the junk he keep throwing.
That's aimed at you Hernandez...

Does anyone remember the game when some young (Name?) leftfielder tried to throw Livan out at first on a hit to left at RFK?  Pitcher for Fla ran over and cut it off.

Why couldn't Stammen just pitch like this in the 1st inning?

J.D. Martin is pitching well again today. He has a 2.63 ERA in AAA. He has been great.
