Guzman is just woeful. Another contract that will end up screwing us (see: D Young, Kearns, etc.).

we way overpaid for Guzman too. $8 million a year?!! we should be paying him like half of that at the most.

Why do we give players contracts when they are playing their best? Why not wait until after the season to fully evaluate rather than giving out a deal based on emotion?

For the same reason I am afraid if we give Nick a deal he will freak us too.

Lucky for him he signed his contract before the free agent market collapsed.

huge blunder by Bowden and the Nats to give him that deal when they did.

Because I don't think there is much of a line to get into the house.  Nationals have to take what falls off passing trucks or beg someone to stay.

They bone the bat to death and shave it down till it's nothing but a barrel.

Noone complained when he signed just like the Young and Kearns extensions when both had support from the fans.

I hope Colome throws a pitch so wild it propels him out of the stadium and into the DC sewage treatment plant

I thought DC Sewage Treatment Plant was the name of the stadium?

You can certainly find your fair share of sewage on the field every night.
